All tours begin in the Tinker Barn and Visitor Center. Signs in the Museum parking lot will direct you to the Visitor Center.

We love having visitors come to tour the historic Tinker Cottage. For your convenience, our hours of operation are listed below.

Spring, Summer, and Fall Schedule
From March 1, 2010 through December 23, 2010
General Admission tours of the Cottage will be offered Tuesday through Sunday at 1, 2 and 3 pm.
Group tours are welcome and reservations may be made for eight or more visitors to tour the Cottage on any day and at a time convenient to the group.
The Museum is closed on Mondays.

Admission
Tours of the Cottage are $6/Adults, $5/Seniors, $3/Students ages 5 – 17, Free/ Children 4 and under and Tinker members.
Every Tuesday is Free Admission Day.

FREE ADMISSION for active military families this summer
Tinker is proudly participating in Blue Star Museums, a program that offers free admission from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2010 to all active military and their families (military ID holder and five immediate family members), which includes active duty Reserve and active duty National Guard.
Blue Star Museums is a partnership among Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for Arts, and more than 600 museums across America. To see a full list of participating museums, log on to www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.

Group Tours
Please call the Director of Visitor Services for group and bus tour rates. Arrangements can be made for box lunches for the reserving group.

Students Tours
School groups are welcome with an admission price of $2 per student. One chaperone is admitted free of charge for every 10 students.
Education packets are available with pre and post tour activities. A hands-on activity may also be included with a tour of the Cottage for an additional $1 per student.

Administrative Hours
Administrative hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

The Museum will be closed on the following holidays:
New Year's Eve Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day
